Maria Barbeiro, 74, of Pawtucket passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Maria was the beloved wife of Jose Barbeiro. Born in the Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Cordeiro) Barbeiro.

Maria worked as a braider in the manufacturing industry for many years.

Besides her husband, Maria is survived by her children, Linda Carreiro and her husband Ildegardo, Sandra Paulino and her husband Anthony, and Donna Barbeiro. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Victor Carreiro, Alexander Carreiro, Miranda Paulino, Christian Paulino, Joshua Barbeiro, Aiden Paulino, Jasen Barbeiro, and Jaylan Barbeiro. She leaves behind a sister Adriana Bravo. Maria was the sister of the late Jose Barbeiro and Alfredo Barbeiro.

The Funeral will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM from the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive, Cumberland. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery, 661 Prospect Street, Pawtucket.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
