Malake Chaghouri, 90, of Seekonk, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the home of her daughter on Sunday morning, August 10, 2025. She was the wife of the late Mansour Karraz. Born in Saidnaya, Syria, she was the daughter of the late Elias and Rihana (AlSheikh) Chaghouri. She lived most of her life in Damascus, Syria before moving to the United States eight years ago and obtaining her American citizenship in May of this year, at the age of 90.

She is survived by her children, Toufic Karraz, Wafa Karraz, Jihad Karraz, Afaf Ashkar, Nidal Karraz, Majed Karraz, Chirin Ashkar, twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her sister Georgette Chaghouri. She was the sister of the late Zahia Chaghouri, Antounett Chaghouri, Antoun Chaghouri.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Visiting hours on Saturday, August 16th from 9:00 - 10:00 AM in Saint Basil The Great Church, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM in Saint Basil The Great Church. Burial will follow in Saint Basil's Cemetery, Cumberland.
