Madeleine L. (Rainville) Forget, 78, of Cumberland went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 10, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Maurice (Moe) G. Forget, to whom she was married for 58 years. Born in Woonsocket, Madeleine was the daughter of the late Marguerite Rainville.

Madeleine enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, reading, camping, crafting, and walking on the beach.

On November 4, 1996 she surrendered her life to Jesus. Following that decision, she spent the rest of her life wholeheartedly serving the Lord and others.

Besides her husband, Madeleine is survived by her three children, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Cheryl (Forget) Henbest and her husband Jerry of Meridian, ID, Marc Forget and his wife Judith of Lunenburg, MA and Keith Forget and his wife Christine of Methuen, MA. She is survived by her ten grandchildren Abigail (Henbest) LaMasters (and her husband Isaiah), Jonathan Henbest, Noah Forget (and his wife Martha), Matthew Henbest, Christina Henbest, Rebekah Forget, Hannah Forget, Isaiah Forget, Joshuah Forget, and Elle Forget. Madeline leaves behind her two great grandchildren, Isaac Forget and Luke Forget.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Burial will follow at Saint James Cemetery, Old River Road, Lincoln. Visitation will be prior to the service on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at the O'Neill Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Madeleine's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews .
