Madeleine E. Cavallaro, 87, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 7, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Aldo Cavallaro. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Marcel and Marguerite (Desrosiers) Duhamel. She graduated from Rhode Island College, Class of 1960. Madeleine was a guidance secretary for the Lincoln School Department for many years before retiring.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Laura Cavallaro-Petsching and her husband Eric, Christopher Cavallaro, and David Cavallaro and his wife Renae, her brother, Marcel Duhamel; her six grandchildren, Seth Petsching, Anna Petsching, Levicy Cavallaro, Mattheaw Cavallaro, Kevin Cavallaro, and Dean Madison. She also leaves three great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Suzanne Tignor.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Saint Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Saint James Cemetery, Manville. Visiting hours Friday, February 13th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
