Louise L. Smith, 81, of Coventry, passed into eternal life on September 29, 2022. She was the wife to Jerry L. Smith. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Louise (Machado) Silva.

Louise was a CNA in the healthcare industry for many years prior to retirement.

Besides her husband she is survived by her daughters Brenda L. Smith and Karen M. Dawley. She was the loving grandmother to Amanda Smith, Melissa Smith, Heather Williams, Kadie Williams, and Lisa Smith. Louise was the proud great grandmother to 13 great grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings, Shirley Freeman, George Silva, and Maria Pina.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to calling hours on Monday, October 3rd, in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket, from 4:00-7:00PM. A Funeral Service for Louise will be on Tuesday, October 4th, at 10:30AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Trail in Exeter.
