Obituary

Louise Moussally, 82, of Pawtucket, RI passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, at the Wingate Residences on Blackstone Boulevard in Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Claire Lesieur and the beloved wife of Roland Moussally for 55 years. Louise leaves two children, Julie Moussally of Cranston, Philip Moussally and his wife Rebecca of Basking Ridge, NJ; two grandchildren, Emma and Nathan Moussally; four siblings, Marie Brough, Henry Lesieur and his wife Helen, Madeline MacRae, and Jeannine Bedard and her husband Randy; and many nieces and nephews.

Louise was devoted to her family and proud of her role as a mother and grandmother. She worked as a waitress at the Log Den and later as a sales assistant and executive secretary at the Yankee Swapper and International Packaging Company. After retiring, she volunteered for 18 years with Meals on Wheels.

A lifelong Pawtucket resident, Louise attended St. Cecilia's School and graduated from St. Jean Baptiste High School. She was a devout Catholic, known for her warm personality and signature phrase, "Have a nice day." Louise also excelled at creative crafts such as stained glass, ceramics, and other artistic design works that everyone enjoyed. She had a deep love for gardening and took great pride in her flowers and plants, creating beautiful spaces that brought joy to family and friends.

Louise loved traveling with her husband, visiting National Parks and touring Europe, including Ireland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Monaco, Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands, as well as cruises to the Suez Canal, Bermuda, Alaska, and the Rhine and Danube Rivers.

Funeral Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 10th at 9:30 AM at St Teresa's Catholic Church, 385 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI. Burial will follow at the Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI. Visiting hours will be held on January 9th between 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St, Pawtucket, RI.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Gateways to Change, Inc.
