Louis S. Cabral, 89, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Tuesday, January 7, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Rita (Proulx) Cabral. They were happily married for 65 years. Born in Portugal, he was the son of the late Jose (Joseph) and Emilia (Bernardo) Cabral. Louis was a tool maker for many years before retiring. Louie enjoyed golfing and was an avid New England Patriots fan along with the Boston Red Sox.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving daughter, Linda Mousseau and her husband Dennis Mousseau of North Smithfield. He was the brother of the late Joel Cabral.

The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Brown Urology, Dr. Lauren Bakios and the Hope Health Hospice team.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Saint Teresa Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hope Health Hospice , 1085 North Main St., Providence RI 02904, would be greatly appreciated.

Louis was a loving husband, father, uncle, and a dear friend to many. He will forever be in our hearts.
