Lorraine M. (Frappier) Arcuri, 82, passed away on June 1, 2025 in Norfolk VA. She was the beloved wife of Raymond J. Arcuri for 38 years. Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Laurier and Lea (Pontbriand) Frappier. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara J. Hennings (Randy Hennings), and Kathleen E. Ellis (Michael Ellis) of Norfolk, VA; grandchildren Jonathan Ellis (Rachel Ellis), Nathan Sotir, Christine Mazarakis (Michael Mazarakis), Josiah Morales (Kendall) and Mark Morales; great-grandchildren Bennett Ellis and Sawyer Ellis. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Lucille Hunt and Claire Choiniere.
Her family and friends remember her as a beacon of kindness and support.
Lorraine took great pride in her career at Swiss Line Precision, where she contributed her skills in the Deburring Department. After retirement, Lorraine was an avid player of Mahjong, Scrabble, a lover of Crocheting, Reading and Cooking. Her favorite season was Fall and she loved to travel north to see the foliage. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, and she was always ready to give a plate of homemade cookies. Lorraine was well known in her community and spoke of highly, she was kind and thoughtful to all who knew her. Her home was always open to friends and family.
Though Lorraine's journey took her to Norfolk, VA, she was a lifelong resident of Cumberland, Rhode Island. Where her heart always remained and where she spent many cherished years.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday August 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow where she will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland RI.
Lorraine's legacy of love and warmth will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
