Linda L. Nordstrom, 74 of Taunton, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Born in San Mateo, CA, Linda was one of eleven children. She was the daughter of the late Alva and Marie (Vesico, Scanlon) Nordstrom. She is survived by her 5 children: Marie, Deltah, Leoba, Kenneth and Martin.

Linda "Ma" was a homemaker who loved music, cooking, knitting, yard sales, and spending Sundays at "the flea," with her children. She loved the world around her; pets, plants, and most of all, her family. Her journey on this Earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. When she wasn't busy with her hobbies she loved to travel with her best friend, John. She found so much joy in spending time and joking around with her grandkids.

Linda was the loving grandmother to Gabbrelliea and Michael; Tyleigh and Cora; Evan, Demetrii and Melee; Izzabbella, Brody and Nova; Owen, Caleb and Elouise; and one great-grandchild, John. Linda also leaves behind 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 4 late sisters, and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Ma will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her children and their children were more "precious than gold."

Ma was here but now she is gone. She left her name to carry on. Those who knew her knew her well, those who didn't miss her spell.

If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them.
