Obituary

Linda T. Gilbert, 77, of Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.  Born in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Theresa (Turgeon) Winters. She was the wife of the late Ronald F. Gilbert.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Joubert and her husband Michael Joubert, and Brenda St. Hilaire and her husband Brian Robbins; her stepchildren, Todd Gilbert and Dawn Burdick; her grandchildren, Jessica, Alyssa, Joshua, Heather, Stephanie and Brandon; her 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, the late Richard St. Hilaire and David Gilbert. She was the sister to Steven Winters, Gary Winters, Thomas Winters, and Christine Moore.

Linda treasured the time spent with her family and looked forward to celebrating the holidays, especially Christmas. Linda would rather play slot machines at the casino, although she often enjoyed quiet moments sitting outdoors watching the squirrels, hummingbirds and cardinals frolic around the feeders. Linda became a born-again Christian and looked forward to attending bible study and church services with her friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Friday, September 20th, at 6:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, from 4:00-6:00 PM prior to the service, in the funeral home.

A donation in Linda's memory, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
