Leo F. McNeil, 88, of Weymouth, MA and formerly of Seekonk, MA, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 14, 2023. He was the husband of the late Nancy (Brown) McNeil. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Peter and Annie (Early) McNeil. Leo was a navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a steel worker for Washburn Wire for many years before retiring. Leo enjoyed playing golf and spending time at the former Narragansett Race Track.

He is survived by his children, Susan Dumas and her husband Russell, Kimberly McNeil-Downs and her husband Alden, Mary Jane DiPalma, Jeff McNeil and his wife Joan, and Elizabeth Twombly. He also leaves thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Elizabeth McHenry, John McNeil, Brendan McNeil, Peter McNeil, Olive Gray, Grace Currier, and Laura Matha.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10:30 AM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.

Visiting hours are on Saturday from 9:00-10:30 AM, prior to the Service in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to NVNA and Hospice , 120 Longwater Dr., Norwell, MA 02061, in memory of Leo would be greatly appreciated.
