Kenneth J. Reddington, 90, of Attleboro, MA and formerly of Seekonk, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Sunday, April 21, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly Ann (Holleran) Reddington, married for 62 years. Born in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of the late James and Alice (English) Reddington. Ken was an army veteran of the Korean War Era. He had worked for New England Telephone for many years before retiring.
Ken is survived by his 5 children. His favorite daughter, Kim Charron and husband Ron of Seekonk. His sons, John and his wife Laurie of Cromwell, CT, Joseph and his wife Rosanne of Richmond, VA, Thomas and his wife Alicia of Norwell and James and his wife Sharon of North Attleboro. Twelve Grandchildren, Corey and Kyle Charron, Justin, Michael, Kristin, Samantha, Molly, Calvin, Haley, Abigail, Greg and Ethan Reddington. Six Great Grandchildren, Colton, Emma and Hadley Reddington, Felix Carter, Brady Charron and Brian Reddington. He also leaves his sisters, Barbara Ferland, Eileen Garne, Ruth Foley, and Monica Lanoue, as well as 23 nieces and nephews.
Ken loved spending time with his family and friends, playing cards, attending his grandchildren's many activities, and was fast to make acquaintances and raise a glass wherever he went. He was an avid New England sports fan, and his ability to bring a crowded room to attention with his piercing whistle will be sorely missed.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 25th, at 11:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk. Burial with military honors will follow in Seekonk Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 9:00-10:15 AM, prior to the Mass, in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, an online donation in memory of Ken, to the Dementia Society of America , would be greatly appreciated.
