Katherine "Kathy" Tyrrell, 78, of Providence, passed into eternal life on August 20, 2022.

Katherine was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Lester and Mayetta (McGarrity) Tyrrell. She was a graduate of the Newport School of Nursing and Boston College.

Katherine is survived by her brother, Terrence Tyrrell and his wife Susan of Somerset, MA, her sister Susan Tyrrell of Providence and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Tyrrell, Charles Tyrrell and Martha Normandin.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service for Katherine on Wednesday, August 24 ^th at 10:00 am in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Her burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.

The family will receive friends in the funeral home prior to the service on Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:00 am.
