June E. Stroscio, 94, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Phillip Stroscio. Born in Pawtucket, June was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Cheney) Drummond. She was a lifelong resident of the community she loved deeply.
June is survived by her devoted children, Joseph Stroscio; Lisa Walas and her husband Kevin; and her daughter-in-law, Linda Stroscio. She also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren and ten treasured great-grandchildren. She was the loving mother of the late Frank Stroscio and mother-in-law of the late Mary Stroscio.
A lifelong member of Saint Joseph Parish, June was actively involved in many aspects of church life and gave generously of her time and spirit. She was also a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), where she participated in presenting history awards and giving tours, sharing her passion for history with others.
June also wrote poetry and achieved the remarkable accomplishment of publishing her own book. She also enjoyed knitting, a talent that brought warmth and comfort to many and reflected the care she showed throughout her life.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Saint Joseph's Church of the Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery, 661 Prospect Street, Pawtucket.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 14th, from 9:00 - 10:30 AM, prior to the Mass, in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association RI Chapter , 245 Waterman St #306, Providence, RI 02906, in honor of June, would be greatly appreciated.
