Jorge Pereira, 76, of Pawtucket, passed into eternal life on October 20, 2024. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, he was the son of the late Manuel dos Santos Pereira and Maria do Ceu Rijo Pereira.

Jorge was the devoted husband of Delia (Miranda) Pereira.

He worked in medical records for many years prior to retiring.

Jorge loved his family, including his animals fiercely. He was always seen with his loving dog in his arms walking around the neighborhood. Jorge loved everything "soccer" and would play or coach every chance he had. He never knew a stranger, and he had a heart of gold.  Jorge will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Besides his wife and dog Ceasar, Jorge is survived by his daughter, Miranda Hannah, son in law Freddie, and his grand dog Gumbo. He also leaves his sister Maria Force and her husband Michael.  Jorge was predeceased by his best friend and companion, his dog Eliott.

Friends and family are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Bural on Saturday, October 26th at 11 AM, in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, RI. Burial to immediately follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, October 26th from 9AM to 10:30 AM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, prior to the service.
