John O'Riley

John O'Riley, 82, of Pawtucket passed away peacefully at Hospice Care on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Constance (Coelho) O'Riley. He was the son of the late Margaret (Toye) O'Riley. John is also survived by his children, Timothy O'Riley and Reaghan O'Riley, and his grandchild Donovan O’Riley. He also leaves his sister-in-law Virginia Fitzhugh and brother-in-law Donald Coelho, and his amazing caretaker Carla Goncalves. 

John graduated from Providence College and then received his MSW from Boston College. After his studies he worked for DCYF for 37 years as a social worker. He was the original director of CASA. Beside his family, his passion for the PC Friars Basketball, was second to none. 

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:45 AM, in the Manning-Heffern-O’Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St. Pawtucket. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service, from 9:30 - 10:45 AM in the Manning-Heffern-O’Neill Funeral Home.
