John C. Donato, 89, of Pawtucket and formerly of Central Falls, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 15, 2022. Born in Patterson, New Jersey, he was the son of James and Mary (Homsy) Donato. John was a self-employed hairdresser for many years before retiring.

He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Donato and Lillian Cheek. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Robert,  Basil, George, and Samuel Donato.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Liturgy of Christian Burial on Tuesday, September 20 ^th at 11 AM at St. Basil the Great Church, 15 Skyview Dr., Lincoln, RI. Visiting hours Tuesday from 9-10:30 AM, prior to the Service in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St. Pawtucket.

Burial with military honors will be in Saint Basil Cemetery, Cumberland.
