John(Jay)S. Curry, 63, of Providence passed into eternal life on March 19, 2022.
Jay was born in Providence, the son of the late Vincent Curry and Jeannine (Brunelle) Curry.

Jay is survived by his loving children,Stephen J. Curry, and Ashley M. Bennett and her husband Jason, all of Seekonk, Massachusetts. He is also survived by his siblings; Kevin Curry and his wife Susan of Pawtucket, Karen Asselin and her husband Jerry of Pawtucket David Curry and his wife Celeste of Johnston, James Curry and his wife Ann Marie of Millville, Massachusetts, Maryann Lefaivre and her husband Ronald of Cumberland, and Patrick Curry and his wife Michelle of Pawtucket. John leaves his 4 beloved grandsons; Wyatt, Hunter, Easton, and Connor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.He was the former spouse of Analie (Soares) Curry.

Jay loved being part of his large loving family.He was a long time umpire in the Rumford section of East Providene and area towns. He was a favorite umpire of the kids and there parents alike. He wassolooking forward to passing on his passion of baseball to his 4 grandsons.He was a fan of all New England sports teams especially the Boston RedSocks.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Curry, to which relatives and friends are invited, on Wednesday, March 30th at 10:00 am in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. His burial will be private
