Joanne M. Yany, 90, of Pawtucket, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026. She was the wife of the late Albert P. Yany. Born in Norwood, MA., she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mabel (Gussan) Tomm.

She is survived by her children, David Yany and his wife Susan, Jim Yany and his wife Jill, Barbara Brown and her husband Steven, Christine Musial and her husband Chet, and Terez Daley and her husband Michael; eleven grandchildren, Heather Yany, Lauren Yany, Sarah Sollitto, Jennifer Yany, Cassandra Yany, Ariana Yany, Jason Yany, Andrew Musial, Alex Musial, Jacob Findlay and Allison Findlay. She also leaves five great-grandchildren, Emmersyn, Scarlett, Madison, Anthony and Noah. She was the grandmother of the late Michael Yany and the sister of the late James Tomm, Fred Tomm, Najla Solomon, Rose Joseph, and Elenora Tomm.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Thursday, February 5th at 10:00 AM in Saint Basil The Great Church, Skyview Drive Lincoln. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Visiting hours are on Wednesday, February 4th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
