Joanne J. Quinn, 89, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 23, 2023. She was the wife of the late John F. Quinn. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Aline (LaFlamme) Blanchette. Joanne was a registered nurse at Roger Williams Medical Center for twenty-three years, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed cooking, cross-country skiing, travelling, and most of all, the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known for her incredible sense of humor, quick wit, and selflessness.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Lizotte, Jodi Henderson, Debra Harrison, Michael Quinn, Steven Quinn, and Thomas Quinn, her sister, Marlene Cook, thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Her death was preceded by; sister Doraine Coia, brother Dennis Blanchette, granddaughter Jennifer Lizotte Ray, great grandson Zachary Quinn and daughter in-law Linda Quinn.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Friday, June 30th at 11:00 AM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Visiting hours are on Thursday, June 29th from 4:00-7:00 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care , 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI, 02904, in memory of Joanne, would be greatly appreciated.
