Jeannine D. Grace, 93, of Pawtucket, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Jeannine was the daughter of the late Auguste O. Levesque and Lucienne G. (DesLaurier) Levesque. Her parents originated from Iberville, Québec, Canada and her family settled in Pawtucket, Rhode Island in the early 1920's where Jeannine was the first generation of her family born in the United States. She was the granddaughter of the late Odilon and Celios Levesque. She was the sibling of Therese Laboissonniere, Maurice Levesque, and Normand R. Levesque.

Jeannine attended Our Lady of Consolation catholic school in Pawtucket and was very committed to her faith and religion. She finished school in 8th grade and starting working to support her family. In August of 1955 she met her husband James G. Grace from Rumford after he served in Anchorage Alaska during the Korean War and began his career as a Welder and Metal Fabricator. He was installing the ventilation unit at Darlington Fabrics where Jeannine worked and they started dating. After marrying in 1958 they had two beautiful boys Gerald and Gary. Her most recent job was working as an assembler in the electronics industry for many years prior to retiring.

As a family they would travel by Van, Truck, and Camper to hundreds of different camp sites and national parks across the country. Jeannine and James were very active in groups within the community such as; Charter members of the Rhody Rovers No. 84 NAFCA, members of Rhode Island Snowmobile Association, and founders of the Rhode Island Jonnycake Chapter No. 3. Jeannine, whether she was camping or at home loved playing Skip-Bo, dominos, and various table-top games for pennies with her sister, neighbors, and camping friends.

Later in life her oldest son Gerald married Robin Grace and had a son Dylan Grace which lit up Jeannine's heart and she loved him dearly. She was a part of his life in as many ways as she could. After losing her husband James in 2000, Gerald, Robin, and Dylan became her world more than ever. They spent every holiday, birthday, and special occasion together and was welcomed into Robin's family.
