James A. Collins, 100, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 19, 2022. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Urbati) Collins. Born in Sommerville, MA, he was the son of the late Michael and Anne (Walsh) Collins. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He was a court officer for many years before retiring.

He is survived by his son, William Collins, two grandchildren, Shannon Mulkern and Brendan Collins, and one great-grandson. He was the brother of the late Francis Collins, John Collins, Bernard Collins, and Mary (Collins) Head.

The funeral will be held Friday at 8:30 AM from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Newton, MA.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 25th from 8:30-9:30 AM prior to the Mass, in the O'Neill Funeral Home.
