Hilda (Magson) Wardle, 101 years, of Pawtucket, died October 11, 2009. She was the widow of the late James W. Wardle who were married for 61 years. Hilda was the daughter of the late Joe and Alice Ann (Pate) Magson.

Mrs. Wardle is survived by her daughter, Megan F. O"Brien, with whom she lived and cared for the past seven years. She also leaves a daughter-in-law, Peg Wardle of Riverside and her grandchildren James W. Wardle and his wife Lisa of New Jersey, Jeffrey Wardle and his wife Robin of Cranston, Kellie Gentille and her husband Paul of Tennessee, Sean W. O"Brien and his wife Kelley of South Carolina, Cynara K. Houtchens of Smithfield and 11 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son James J. Wardle (2005) and her granddaughter, Ashlie K. Houtchens (2009).

A Memorial Service will be held at her home, 193 Bristol Avenue, Pawtucket, on Sunday, November 1, 2009 between 1-4 PM for her family and friends.
