Herbert L. Miller, 80, of Lincoln and formerly of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014. He was the husband of Carol (Levato) Miller. They were happily married for 56 years. Born in Morristown, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Preston and Elsie (Lohrman) Miller. Herb graduated from Morristown High School and Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was President and CEO of the former Eastland Bank of Woonsocket, retiring in 1991. He was very active in the Northern Rhode Island business community and had served on a number of boards throughout his career.  He was also a member of Kirkbrae Country Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Herbert L. Miller Jr. and his wife Mary Kate, Kathryn Garrett and her husband, Jon, and Nancy Logan and her husband Mark, eight grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, and Elizabeth Miller, Michaele Kruger, Jonathan Garrett, Michael, Steven, and Jimmy Logan, and a great grandson, Maddux Kruger. He also leaves two sisters. The funeral will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 9am from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland, Burial will be private.
