Helen E. Martin, 94, of Sterling, MA and formerly of Cumberland RI, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Saturday, September 23, 2023. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Nellie Crawford. Helen was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.

She is survived by her children, James (Joanna) Martin, Karen Stilwell, and Lori (Joseph) Ruggiero, six grandchildren, Kerri Smith-Connor, Roger (Lisa) Smith, Kyle (Courtney) Martin, Matthew (Chelsea) Stilwell, Johnathan Ruggiero and Chance Ruggiero. She also leaves her eight great grandchildren, Caden, Jace, Olivia, Averie, Evan, Stevie, Dakota and Harley. She was the sister of the late Alice Horigan, Joan Gilson, Barbara, Henry, Michael, Robert, and Francis Crawford. Helen was preceded in death by her husband James K Martin Sr., Son in Law Thomas Stilwell, Grandchildren, Jason and Ketcher Smith, Jordan Ruggiero, and her lifelong friend Harriet Greenfelder.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Friday, September 29th at 12:30 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours Friday, September 29th from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, prior the service in the O'Neill Funeral Home.
