Helen Daneau, of Seekonk, passed to eternal life on May 2, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late J. Gerard Daneau. Born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Armand and Lucille (Lagasse) Gendreau.
Helen lived a beautiful life. She was a homemaker who enjoyed dancing, boating, knitting, motorcycle touring, traveling in their motorhome, and flying. Most of all, she enjoyed time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Richard, Rachel Greene (Carleton), Diane McNally (Raymond), and Dolores Truesdale (William). She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her siblings Armand Gendreau, Doris Therien, Robert Gendreau, and her grandson Marc Daneau.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.
