Guiseppe A. Veroni, 91, formerly of Pawtucket, passed into eternal life on June 7, 2026. He was the husband of the late Carmela (Lopresti) Veroni.
Born in Italy, Guiseppe immigrated to the United States as a young man and worked as a machinist at Key Container for many years. An avid bowler, he enjoyed tenpin bowling for over fifty years in East Providence, often playing on the same team as his sons, Richard and the late Anthony. Guiseppe was also a dedicated Red Sox fan; living near McCoy Stadium, he frequently walked to attend PawSox home games.
He is survived by his son, Richard Veroni; his daughter, Maria Veroni-Allen, and her husband Joey; his grandchildren, Ryan and Katlyn Allen; and his sister, Lucia Incereti. Guiseppe was also the father of the late Anthony Veroni.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 15th, at 10:45 AM at the Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main Street, Pawtucket. Calling hours will precede the Mass on Monday morning, June 15th from 9:45 - 10:30 AM.
Burial will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jeanne Jugan Little Sisters of the Poor, 964 Main St., Pawtucket RI 02860.
