It is with great sadness that the family of Gloria Narkawich, a resident of Attleboro, announces her sudden passing on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Born in Pawtucket, Gloria was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Buttie) Pina. She was a dedicated worker and a familiar face in the community, serving for many years as a supervisor at the former School House Candy in Pawtucket.
Gloria was a woman who embraced the joy in every day. She was an avid camper who loved the outdoors and cherished the community she found at the campgrounds. Whether she was attending meat raffles, playing a spirited game of bingo, or enjoying an occasional trip to the casino, Gloria’s energy and presence were always felt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Jenson (California) and two brothers Jerry Buttie and Maurice Buttie.
She is survived by: Her devoted partner of 30 years, Anthony Coelho. Her loving children, daughter, Brenda Ford and her husband Scott Ford, and son, Dennis Narkawich. Her dear sister, Rosemary Osborne (California). Her three grandchildren, Dean, Devin, and Dakota Marabello. Many nieces, nephews, and a large circle of "camping friends" who were like family to her.
Gloria will be remembered for her work ethic, her lucky streak at the tables, and her love for her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Thursday, March 12th at 7:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Her calling hours will be Thursday, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM prior to the service.
Her legacy of love and fun lives on through her family.
