Gloria T. Lapierre

Gloria T. Lapierre, 85, of Manville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. She was the wife of the late Leo Lapierre. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Albina (Metivier) Adam. Gloria was a CNA for over 40 years before retiring at age 80. She was a lifelong animal lover and especially loved her three golden retrievers, Kelly, Jake, and Daisy.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Pelletier and her husband Kenneth, and her grandchildren, Ashley Pelletier and her husband Anthony Faccenda, and Lindsey Arteaga and her husband Christopher. She is also survived by her step-children Leo Lapierre and his partner Mary Ann Rahn and Bruce Lapierre and his wife Cheryl Ann, and a step-granddaughter, Lauren Lapierre and her husband Jordan Madigan. She was the sister of the late Margaret Fortier, Irene Landry, Lillian Felinger, and Ruth Blais and step-mother to the late Gail Lapierre.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Saint James Church, Division Street, Manville. Burial will follow in Saint James Cemetery, Manville. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 9:00 – 10:15 AM, prior to the Mass, in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
