Gina Marie Magill, 60, of Pawtucket passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pawtucket, Gina was the daughter of the late Alexander and Joan (Palagi) Magill Jr.
Gina is survived by her four children, whom she shared with Luis Alberto Rodriguez Sr., Gina Marie Rodriguez and her partner, Eric Gorton; Alexandria Rodriguez and her husband, Alex Turgeon; Luis Alberto Rodriguez Jr. and his partner, Ashlie Devonis; and Antonio Luis Rodriguez. She was a proud and loving grandmother to five grandchildren, Skylah Joan Almeida, Firenzia Natali Chace, Justin Dean Jamro Jr., Asher Raymond Rodriguez, and Emmitt Luis Rodriguez. Gina was also the beloved sister of Sandra Magill-LaValley and her husband, Alfred; Alexander Magill III and his wife, Kristen; Brenda Simao and her husband Joe; and Tara Magill. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, each of whom she held close to her heart.
Gina loved her roots and the bonds she formed growing up, carrying that sense of family and community with her throughout her life. A passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Gina's loyalty to her team was matched only by her loyalty to the people she loved. She was a constant supporter of her family, always encouraging, always present, and forever their biggest cheerleader.
Gina worked for the local school lunch programs, where her caring nature and dedication reflected who she was at her core. Above all else, she was a provider and protector. Always making sure her children had what they needed and never went without. Her sacrifices, strength, and selflessness defined her life as a mother.
Gina loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering support will live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Saint Raymond's Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, 661 Prospect Street, Pawtucket.
