Gene M. Gauthier, 64, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side Monday, October 30, 2023. Born in Providence, he was the son of Carolyn (McKearney) Gauthier and the late Gene "Geno" Gauthier. Gene was a machinist by trade, including running several companies for twenty plus years. He was an avid New York Jets fan, a motorcycle enthusiast, a guitar player, enjoyed listening to music, spending time in his yard with good company, and playing the slot machines at Twin River Casino.

He is survived by his children, Gene Gauthier Jr. (Mallory) and Nichole Walles. He also leaves three brothers, Brian Gauthier, Gary Gauthier, and John Gauthier. "Grandpaw" leaves behind a beloved and devoted dog, Daisy.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Saturday, November 4th at 1:30 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 11:00-1:30 PM, prior to the service in the O'Neill Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Jude's Children Hospital , 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, in memory of Gene, would be greatly appreciated.
