Gayle "Philip" Nonemaker, 87, of Cumberland, Rhode Island and formerly of Bucks County Pennsylvania, passed into eternal life on Sunday, March 10, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Theresia (Ebert) Nonemaker. Born in Three Springs, PA, he was the son of the late Melvin "Gene" and Vera (Corbin) Nonemaker. Philip was the brother of the late Barbara and Janet Nonemaker.

Philip and Theresia met in Germany, while Philip was in the Air Force. They married on October 5, 1956, and moved to Pennsylvania, where he was a School Teacher for many years before retiring. He was a friend to many and fondly known as "Phil". In September of 2023 they moved to Cumberland, RI to be closer to family.

He is survived by his children who loved him dearly: son, Glen (Margaret) Nonemaker of Cumberland, Rhode Island; and his daughter, Sheila (Tony) Gray of Woodland Hills, California. He was a loving father to his late twins Toni & Francis Nonemaker. He leaves behind his grandchildren, who adored him: Keith Gray and Ashley Nonemaker (Josh) McGill, and his heavenly great granddaughter Leni Evelyn McGill.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service for Philip on Saturday, April 27th at 12:00 PM, noon in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, Rhode Island.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, prior to the service.
