Gail B. Dorofachuk Mezzanotte, 79, of Cumberland, passed away December 3, 2022.  Born in New Brunswick, NJ she was the daughter of Marion (Gunther) Rutkowski and the late John Dorofachuk. Gail was raised by her loving mother and stepfather, John C. Rutkowski.

Gail worked as a special educator for 30 years prior to retiring. She was a strong advocate for her students and her teaching was infused with her love for them all.

She is survived by her children, Marissa Mezzanotte of Cumberland, and Christopher Mezzanotte and his wife Tara of Columbia, New Jersey.

Gail was the devoted grandmother of Lauren Mezzanotte, Christopher Mezzanotte, Owen Zadrozny, Mia Zadrozny, and Rex Zadrozny. She leaves behind many cherished memories with family and friends, including her neighbors at Cumberland Crossings who helped her in so many ways.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday December 10 ^th , at 10AM, in Saint John Vianney Church, 3587 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland.  Burial will be private.

Visiting hours will be from 9:15 AM to 10AM prior to mass, in Saint John Vianney Church, 3587 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland.
