Gabrielle C.  Rhault , 99, passed away on June 3, 2022 after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Maurice R. Rhault for 73 years who pre-deceased her in 2016. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Jules and Antoinette (Turcotte) Masse. She was also pre-deceased by her sister Lucille Forest in 2018.

Gabrielle was a devoted homemaker who loved the hobbies of ceramics and knitting, not to mention her prowess as a baker. Her joys included being surrounded by family and friends and watching sporting events with her favorites being the Red Sox, Patriots, and "Tiger".  She also gave freely of her time to charitable fundraising efforts including the March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society. Gabrielle also knitted numerous caps for the newborns at Women & Infants Hospital. In addition, she became the President of the St. Cecilia's Parish Auxiliary whose membership doubled during her tenure.

Gabrielle is survived by her loving children: Mance Ferland, her husband Richard and their son Gregory, from North Kingstown, as well as their pre-deceased son Jeffrey from East Greenwich, along with his sons Alec, Will, and Zachary, and his wife Kim; Robert Rhault of Providence, his son Daniel and his wife Gissis, and their children Thomas and Natalie of Wellesley, MA, and daughter Julia Rhault and her husband David, of Manhattan, NY; and daughter Denise Every and her husband John of Exeter, RI and their sons Matthew from Seattle, and John, Jr. and his wife Karima, and their children Serena and Lucy of Milton, MA. Likewise, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Gabrielle's funeral will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at St. Cecilia's Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket, RI.

Visitation will begin at 10:30AM for family and friends in the Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM in which all in attendance are welcome.

Burial will be private.
