Francis J. Kenny, Jr. of Pawtucket passed away on November 13, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Kenny was born in Pawtucket on May 14, 1944, the son of the late Francis J. Kenny, Sr. and Lillian C. (King) Kenny.

Fran graduated from St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket and earned his BA in History and Secondary Education from Providence College. He went on to earn his Master's Degree from the University of Rhode Island.

Mr.& Kenny is survived by his children; Timothy F. Kenny, Shannon E. Kenny of Los Angeles, CA, Scott C. Kenny of Pawtucket and Terrence P. Kenny of Pawtucket. He also leaves his sisters, Joan F. Kenny of Pawtucket and Tisha A. Kenny of San Francisco, CA, his brother John J. Kenny and his wife Susan L. Kenny of Newport. Fran had three grandchildren, Ciara Kenny, Hawk Kenny, Jack Kenny and a daughter-in-law, Valerie Tallon-Kenny of Lincoln, RI.

Fran also leaves two nephews, John D. Kenny and Christopher G. Seldin. He will be sorely missed for his charm, generosity and quick-witted personality.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Fran on Tuesday, November 17, at 9:30 am in the Holy Family Parish Church, (St. Joseph's) 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket.
