Florian L. Andrade, 83, of School Street, Pawtucket, died Sunday, October 10, 2010. He was the husband for 61 years of Gloria D. (Squadrito) Andrade.

Mr. Andrade was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Mariano and Mary (Medieros) Andrade. He was a machinist at LF Fayles in Walpole MA, for many years. He was a noted musician and played with the group "The Twilighters." Mr. Andrade was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

Besides his wife, Mr. Andrade is survived by his daughter Diane M. Charron and her husband David of No. Attleboro, MA, his son, Lawrence J. Andrade and partner, George T. Marshall of Newport, RI., his sister Natalie Schravino, his brothers Joseph and John Andrade, all of whom reside in Pawtucket. Mr. Andrade also leaves his granddaughter Ashley M. Charron.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Andrade will take place at 10:00 am in St. Joseph"s Church, Walcott St., Pawtucket on Wednesday, October 13. His burial with full Military Honors will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island.
