Florence L. (Ware) Wildenhain, of Pawtucket passed into eternal life on December 9, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born to Hilda Swinesburg and Maurice Ware, Florence spent her entire life in Pawtucket. She met and married Paul J. Wildenhain and spent her life raising their children. She did it with love and half a nerve pill, that was one of her full-time jobs. She loved her friends and family and her four-legged children, Rubber, Sam, Tyson and Penny.
She is survived by her children Matthew (Diane) of Pawtucket, Mark (Maria) of Pawtucket, Donald (Stacey) of Warwick, Christopher (Petra) of Connecticut, Kevin of Pawtucket and Paula (Carlos) Wildenhain of North Providence. She loved her time spent with her eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She joins her parents and her husband, Councilman Paul J. Wildenhain, in eternal rest as well as her sister Maureen Bierman her brothers William Ware, George Ware, and Joseph Ware. Florence will be missed by all and forgotten by none.
The family would like to thank Idilia Fortes from Ocean State Nursing for the years of caring she gave to our Mom. We would also like to thank the nurses from Continuum Hospice Care, Gail and Victoria, Etta and all the others that cared for our mom and us over the year.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 16th at 11:00 AM in the Holy Family Parish Church, (St. Joseph's) 195 Walcott Street Pawtucket. Her burial will be with her husband Paul in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery.
The calling hours for Florence will be on Sunday, December 15th from 2:00 - 5:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pawtucket Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
