Fernanda Almeida 88, of Seekonk, MA, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Fernanda, she was a faithful servant of the Lord and entered into his glorious presence. She was reunited with her husband of 66 years, Victor G. Almeida. Born in Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Bivina Ferreira. She was the beloved mother of Maria dos Anjos Andrade, grandmother of Daniel Andrade and Christina Elizabeth Kolles, and the great grandmother of Bennett Vernon Kolles.

She was passionate and proud to care for people as a CNA until she retired at the age of 75years old. She was a committed follower of Jesus Christ and a member of the Portuguese Assembly of God in Seekonk, MA.  Her spiritual gift was prayer, and she faithfully prayed to the Lord on behalf of her family, church family, and those in need of God's guidance and help.

One of her favorite scriptures which has now come true, is found in the Gospel of John 11: 25-27. "Jesus said to her I am the resurrection and the life,' Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and to everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die' Do you believe this?" "She said to him, 'yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world."

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 25th, at 11:00 AM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 25th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, prior to the service, in the funeral home. Burial at Seekonk Town Cemetery will immediately follow.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Fernanda's memory can be made to the Portuguese Assembly of God Children's Mission Department, 1237 Newman Avenue, Seekonk, MA 02771, would be greatly appreciated.
