It is with heavy hearts that we announce Ester A. Daniel, 88, of Pawtucket,RI entered eternal life on January 3, 2024. Born in Sao Paio, Portugal, she was the loving daughter of the late Alfredo and Aurora Cardoso, the sister of the late Joao Cardoso, and the wife to the late Mario Daniel.

Ester was the matriarch of our family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She loved to spend time with her family and dedicated herself to ensuring their happiness and well-being. Ester was devoted to St. Anthony's Catholic Church and was a proud member of their choir. She had a remarkable talent for singing, dancing, cooking delicious meals and she also liked to crochet.

Ester lived a remarkable life; She was a woman of immense strength and love. May her peaceful spirit continue to guide and inspire the hearts and minds of those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her loving children, Jose Costa (Alicia) of Florida, Maria Lurdes Machado (Mário) of Pawtucket, and Paulo Daniel (Brittany) of Pawtucket. She leaves her beloved 9 grandchildren: Kevin (Bethany), Tanya (Jamel), Timothy, Marissa, Sean, Nevaeh, Kayden, Sophia, and Max. She also leaves her 5 great grandchildren: Tatiana, Jamel Jr., Paige, Van, and Gianni.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, on Tuesday, January 9th at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 32 Lawn Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Riverside.

Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, January 9th, prior to the Mass, from 8:30 - 10:30 AM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket.
