Estelle Jarest, 92, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 20, 2017. She was the wife of the late Normand Jarest. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Amedee and Hortense (Fournier) Corneau. She lived most of her life in Central Falls before moving to South Attleboro, MA in 1990. Estelle had many hobbies, including sewing, needlepoint, crocheting, and quilting. She loved to travel and was past president of the Royal Travellers. She is survived by three children, Roland "Jake" Jarest and his wife Charlene, Suzanne Clyburn and her husband, Steven, and Paulette Larence and her husband, Donald, her sister, Jeannette Corneau, her brother, Arthur Corneau, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Theresa St. Pierre, Lucille Marquis, Yvette Fregeolle, Sister Helen Corneau, SSA, Gertrude Dube, Sister Rita Corneau, SP, George and Raymond Corneau. The funeral will be held Friday at 9AM from the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Saint Teresa Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-7PM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home.
