Emma Evers, 95, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully Monday, September 30, 2024. She was the wife of the late Harold T. Evers. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta (Mancini) DiBiase. Emma was a registered nurse at Rhode Island Hospital for many years before retiring. She also worked at Miriam Hospital and the former Woonsocket Hospital. She was an adjunct professor at RI College, a member of the Association of Operating Nurses, and a member of PHI Delta Kappa. Emma was a brilliant scholar who lovingly inspired her family.

She is survived by her children, Steven Evers, Diane Evers, and William Evers. She also leaves six grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Rose Antonucci, Mary Tambaschi, Mafalda Gomberg, Vera Tedino, Adeline Ardente, Viola Gurney-LeHane, and Agnes DiBiase.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 7th at 9:30 AM in Saint John Vianney Church 3587 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in RI Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter.

Visiting hours are Sunday, October 6th from 4:00-6:00 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
