Obituary

Elizabeth I. Brennan, 84, passed away on August 6, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late John Brennan Jr.

Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hilda (Wilkinson) Blount.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Kathleen Provost, Patricia Brennan, and daughter in law Tamy Brennan.

She also leaves two grandsons, Joseph Brennan and his wife Katelyn Brennan, Taylor Provost, and a great grandson Joseph Brennan Jr.  Elizabeth was the sister to Hilda Lyon, and Thomas Blount.

Elizabeth was the mother to the late John Brennan III, Elizabeth Brennan, and mother in law to the late Richard Provost Jr.  She was predeceased by her brothers Joseph Blount and Robert Blount.

Elizabeth worked as a Data Entry Clerk at Allied Signal, East Providence for many years prior to retiring.

She volunteered at Ronald McDonald House, Hospice in Providence, and PPAC. Elizabeth enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing, and above all else she loved her family.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian burial on Friday August 12, 2022, at 11AM in St. Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Albion, RI 02802.  The burial to follow will be at Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery, 661 Prospect St, Pawtucket. Visiting hours will be Friday August 12 th from 8:30AM to 10:30AM in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket, RI.

Donations in Elizabeth's memory may be made to St. Ambrose Parish, 191 School Street, Albion, R.I. 02802, or at St. Ambrose Parish .
