Elaine Ann Testa

Elaine Ann (Rzepecki) Testa, 83, of Cumberland passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 12, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard F. Testa, with whom she enjoyed 54 years of marriage before his passing in 2021. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Golombiewski) Rzepecki.

Following Elaine’s graduation from William E. Tolman High School in 1961, she entered the Rhode Island Hospital College of Nursing, embarking on a long career as a registered nurse in the medical intensive care unit at Rhode Island Hospital.

Elaine is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Rebecca Testa of Salem, SC and her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Jeffrey Adams of Cumberland, RI. She was a very proud and doting Grama/Mema and is survived by five grandchildren - Jocelyn Testa of New York, NY, Christopher Testa of West Hartford, CT, Lily Testa of Madison, WI, and Ainsley and Avery Adams of Cumberland, RI.

Elaine was an avid gardener and crafter, enjoying hours tending to the flowers in her yard and juggling multiple knitting, quilting, and painting projects at any given time. She leaves behind a lifetime of friendships, memories, laughter, creativity, and love.

In addition to her parents and husband, Elaine was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Rzepecki, Jr.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Vianney Church, 3655 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland on Saturday, September 19 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th from 4:00-7:00 PM at O’Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI.
