Elaine R. (Levesque) Robitaille, 88, of Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Emile A. Robitaille. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Rita (Gauthier) Levesque.

Elaine was a resident at Chimney Hill Apartments for the past 19 years. She worked for many years at American Cord & Webbing until her retirement. Elaine was a consummate consumer of the news, always having a deep understanding of current local and world events. Quiet, reserved, and almost always serious, her character was reflected by her preferences in books and television. She loved PBS Masterpiece dramas with 'Call the Midwife', 'Poldark', and 'All Creatures Great & Small' among her favorites. She enjoyed reviewing each episode with one of her sons and expressing her regret with the end of each season.

Elaine is survived by her children, Steven Robitaille and his wife, Joanna, of Brownington, VT and Bruce Robitaille and his wife Diana Christie-Robitaille, of North Kingstown, RI. She also leaves grandchildren Kathryn Dougherty and her husband, Ryan of Dracut, MA; Timothy Robitaille and his wife, Arwen of Rumford, RI; Chloe Robitaille and her husband, Nathan Crawford of Forster, RI; Tess Robitaille of North Kingstown, RI; and great grandchildren Leda, Tim, and Eloise. She is the sister of Constance (Levesque) Pereira of Warwick.

The funeral and burial are private.
