Donald L. Bardsley, 90 of Conway, New Hampshire passed away peacefully with his sons at his side on September 30, 2024. He was the son of the late Fred and Bessie (Babbitt) Bardsley. He was the devoted husband of the late Patricia (Kelly) Bardsley.

Donald began working at Globe Narrow Fabric at the age of 16 and was employed there for over 45 years. During this time, he was drafted into the Army and served five years in the Tank Corps. Later in life, he worked at Action Auto Parts, delivering parts and collecting payments from customers. He enjoyed his time there, joking with co-workers and customers. In May 2019, at the age of 85, he retired from Action Auto. Shortly after retirement, he moved to Conway NH where he spent the rest of his life.

Donald enjoyed the outdoors. He spent much of his free time camping, hunting, fishing, ATVing, and snowmobiling. He was an avid Boston sports fan (Patriots / Celtics / Red Sox). Later in life, he spent much of his time in his RI cellar and NH shed tinkering with and organizing his treasure trove of "Stuff". He found joy doing this as his things were littered with memories and experiences of a life well spent. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.

He is survived by his sons David Bardsley of Stewartstown, New Hampshire and Ronald Bardsley of Conway NH. Donald also leaves his two grandsons, Scott and Corey. Diane Bardsley and Tracy Bardsley were his devoted Daughters-in-law. Donald had 2 brothers, the late Kenneth Bardsley and Richard Bardsley. He also had two sisters, Linda and Marsha.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Visting Hours Thursday, October 17th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket.

Burial will be private at the RI Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
