Dennis L. Coursen, of Pawtucket, passed into eternal life on September 2, 2025. He was the loving husband of Barbara L. (Hesketh) Coursen.

Dennis was born in Conneaut, Ohio, the son of the late Hazel (Whetstone) Butler and George Butler. He was a United States Navy Veteran.

Besides his wife Barbara, Dennis is survived by his daughter Meghan J. Myers and her husband Greg as well as his son Zachary L. Coursen and his wife Elisabeth. He had four grandchildren, Xia Myers, Shiloh Myers, Tekoa Myers, and Daxton Coursen.

Burial with full Military Honors will take place on Saturday, October 11th at 11:00 AM in Rhode Island Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822.

There will be a Memorial service for Dennis, on Saturday, October 25th at 11:30 AM in the Darlington Congregational Church, 685 Central Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
