David E. McVay, 76, of Lincoln, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Francis and Irene (Carr) McVay. David graduated Cumberland High School in 1964 and Providence College in 1968. David was a personnel director for the State of RI for many years before retiring.

He is survived by his children, Christopher McVay and his wife, Tammy, and Jeffrey McVay, and his wife, Beth; his grandchildren, Joshua, Julianna, Joseph, and Jenna McVay. He also leaves his brothers, Frank McVay, Peter McVay, Paul McVay, and his sister, Mary Frances McVay.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, October 19 ^th at 10 AM in Saint Ambrose Church, School Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

Visiting hours are on Tuesday, October 18 ^th from 4-7 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in David's memory, would be greatly appreciated.
