David B. Franklin, 88, of Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025. He was the husband of the late Geraldine (Grady) Franklin. They were happily married for 66 years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Andrew and Ruth (Brown) Franklin. He lived most of his life in Cumberland.

David owned and operated the former Moody Machine Products of Providence for 25 years, retiring in 2020. He is survived by his children, David A. Franklin and Michael J. Franklin.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 15th at 9:00 AM from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, April 14th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home.
