David J. Findlay, 66, of Cumberland died May 19, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving wife and son. He was the husband of Sharon A. (Burgess) Findlay. They had been married nineteen years.
Mr. Findlay was born in Central Falls, the son of the late David Findlay Jr., and Doris (Carreiro) Findlay. David started out as a janitor for Minute Man Tool, and was the President of Sentry Tools when he passed away.
Besides his wife he leaves his son David A. Findlay of Lincoln and his four close friends John Cloutier, Jim Coyle, Bill Pilon, and Bill Dixon.
There will be a funeral service for David Monday, May 23, at 10:00 a.m. in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. The burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. His calling hours will be Sunday 2-5 p.m. in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited.
