David E. Church

David E. Church, 77, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Chester and Mary (Sherman) Church.

Following his service in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, David worked for RIPTA as a bus driver in the transportation industry for many years prior to retiring.

David is survived by his children: Melanie Marco, Heather Church, Michael Church, Matthew Church, and Jasmine Mahoney. He leaves behind eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. David is survived by Linda Church and Lisa Church. He was the brother of the late Raymond Church and Paul Church.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Saint Raymond's Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the R.I. Veterans Cemetery, 301 S. County Trail, Exeter.

Visitation will take place prior to the Mass from 9:00 - 10:15 AM at the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
